Today, something rare happened to me. I was asked to go to a school dance by a guy I had only known for five minutes. I was ecstatic, and I couldn’t wait for the day to come. I bought an outfit for it and spent hours getting ready. So I go to the dance, and there he is. I was even more excited because we had a movie date to go see Good Will Hunting afterwards (probably my favorite movie of all time). Well the night couldn’t have taken a much sharper turn. After a lot of dancing, I got a bomb dropped on me thats hard to describe. And after several incidents which were complete misunderstandings, we had a moment to talk. The best way to some it up is “I want to love you, but I can’t love you right now.” It might sound strange on paper but it made a lot of sense to me. So where do I go from here? I guess that the best I can do is buck up, and hope that maybe when we’re in a better place we could be something. That is all.
